Is it weird that I didn’t like Babcock before but now I like him a little more? It seems he dislikes the Leafs just as much as I do.

I think he just a wiener. Doesn’t matter who he coaches.

Possibly the most overrated coach in history. He was gifted a Red Wings team with some all-time great players and a host of other amazing talent and he's been successful coaching Team Canada who I assume a chimp with a drug problem could lead to a medal

Funny that both Bozak and Kadri are gone... With Bozak winning the cup....

Pretty sure I read recently that Chelios who's Americas golden child in hockey had some not so nice words for Babcock

Eh, I mean, both things everyone says about him can't be true at the same time. I've read he only won because he coached elite teams (which, I've been told, the Leafs are...possibly the best ever!). And then I've read that he didn't know how to coach an awesome team like the Leafs because he kept trying to impose a grind-it-out style on them. If he only wins because he coached elite teams, then he must know how to coach elite talent. And if he can't coach elite talent because his system stifles them, then how did he win with elite teams?

Resorting to syllogisms on hockeybuzz may get you banned. Seriously, my sense is that Babcock is a little like Tortorella..........effective for a while, but then he wears out his welcome and the team tunes him out.

I'm not saying he's a bad coach or nothing good his teams have done is because of him, I just think that he was very much overrated. Before this debacle in Toronto, a reasonable amount of people likely thought of him as one of the better coaches of all time. I just don't think he's that good.

That line as a whole looks good so far and is generating a bit. Bailey on the 4th line with mdc and Johnston with brassard playing so well with beau and nelson he really doesnt have a spot and they aren't messing with the best 4th line
